How do color blind people see our websites? Test vision deficiency on Google Chrome

Since I am super short-sighted myself, I side with those who have poor eyesight. That’s why today I’m telling you how to test websites for the most common vision defects with Google Chrome.

  1. Open Chrome Dev Tools. Click on the three dots at the top right and then on Run command

  1. Type “rendering” and click on Show Rendering

  1. Now scroll down to the “Emulate vision deficiencies” select

  1. Play with the options. As a short-sighted person I have to admit that blurred vision is better than mine :(
